Show your children that you care. Let them know through word and deed that they are appreciated.

Research shows that 80% of parents’ interaction with their children is based around negative comments and criticism, both of which are often done so unconsciously. It is therefore important to try and balance this out with more positive comments and encouragement (but remember, don’t overdo the praise!).
