Parents are increasingly eager for hand-held advice on how to solve the most common parenting challenges and the new Best of Parenting has app is proving very popular. Instead of basing it’s advice on the latest parenting fad or fashion, the Best of Parenting app seems keen to present balanced and straightforward parenting tips based on scientific research and data. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the app is written by a real life couple with children rather than a childrearing ‘guru’.
Rated 5 stars on both the Apple Store and Google Play and was selected by an expert app review website in their top 10 apps of 2014; they wrote:
‘This app is pretty creative. It’s an app that compiles over 500 tips for parents – a quick reference parenting manual on your iPhone or iPad. … I think this one is a lot of fun. I learned a few good ideas, and it’s always nice to have a starting point with a new behavior that has me stumped.’
Leading parenting website, MummyPages also gave the Best of Parenting app a full thumbs up:
